Description: In this video, Amelia reviews the all-new IONIQ 5 from Hyundai. We have been keenly waiting for fo the chance to review the IONIQ5 and to make things even better, we have the higher trim of the two AWD models with more power. 0:00:00 - Introduction to IONIQ 5 0:01:17 - Ioniq5 Design 0:01:07 - Cerato GT design 0:02:32 - Power and performance 0:03:03 - Charge times and range 0:03:34 - Driving impressions 0:05:32 - Interior design, features and infotainment 0:08:40 - Rear seats, comfort space and features 0:09:36 - Boot space, features and convenience 0:10:15 - Safety features 0:11:03 - Pricing 0:11:42 - Summary of Hyundai Ioniq5 When it comes to electric vehicles, most of us hold Tesla models like the Model 3 as being an affordable and attainable EV but also desirable as it sits at the forefront with tech and design. But Hyundai’s IONIQ is set to steal some of that desirability thunder from Tesla in offering one of the most tech-filled, feature-packed electric SUVs on the market. Whilst impressing with important EV fundamentals like charge times and range. The 2WD is actually RWD and it packs 160 kW and 350 Nm of that lovely electric motor torque. The more powerful AWD version in our video adds another motor for the front wheels. It adds 70 kW of power but an additional 255 Nm of torque for the combined output of 225 kW and 605 Nm of torque. On-board AC charger charges the car in about 6 hours, the fast DC charger with 50 kW gets it to 80% in around an hour and the ultra-fast DC charger does the same thing in under 20 minutes. The official range is 430 km for this AWD version and 451 for the RWD. This car reaches 100 in 5.2 seconds and it accelerates from 80-120 in just 3.8 seconds. Well, pricing starts at $71,900 for the single motor 2WD or $75,900 for the one we reviewed.
